Outstanding Results
Health Care
SSME works on healthcare projects ranging from one-room imaging replacements to a 120,000-square-foot addition. You can find our work in hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, medical office buildings, and behavioral health care units. Clients include Duke Health and UNC Health, with jobs completed at Duke University Medical Center, Duke Raleigh, Duke Regional, Davis Ambulatory Surgical Center, UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill and Hillsborough, the Ambulatory Surgery Center, Nash, Rex, Rockingham, and Southeastern Hospitals.
State Government Projects
SSME has enjoyed a long relationship with the State of North Carolina via the State Construction Office, completing projects with the following State Agencies: Administration, Agriculture & Consumer Services, Environmental Quality, Health & Human Services, Natural & Cultural Resources, Public Safety, Revenue, and Transportation. State University projects include work at NC Central, NC A&T State, NC State, UNC-Chapel Hill, and UNC-Greensboro.
Engineering-Led Projects
Some of our projects are engineering-only. In these situations, SSME leads the project from start to finish without an architect, handling design, bidding, construction administration, and project closeout. Past jobs have included chillers, boilers, cooling towers, air handling units, generators, switchboards, fire alarm systems, and lighting.
